AR Rahman releasing Ek Deewana Tha music on 21st December

The music of the film Ek Deewana Tha, which stars Prateik Babbar and British model-turned-actor Amy Jackson, will be released on 21st December, 2011. Oscar award winner musician AR Rahman and Javed Akhtar, who have worked on the music of the movie will launch the audio album at a grand function.

Rahman fans have been eagerly waiting for the music launch after listening to background score in the trailer. Both Amy Jackson and Prateik will be a part of the Musical event. After Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Ek Deewana Tha will be Gautham Menon’s second venture in Bollywood. will be held at the Taj Mahal, the ultimate symbol of love. The Music Launch will include a performance by maestro AR Rahman and Javed Akhtar. Director Gautham Menon will also share his experience of making the musical. 

 

AR Rahman out; Gautham Menon to reunite with Harris Jayaraj in NEP

Successful combo Gautham Menon and Harris Jayaraj, who parted ways due to some differences a few years ago, seem to have buried the hatchet. Well, the musician is likely to replace AR Rahman, who has reportedly walked out of Neethaane En PonvasanthamNEP) due to his busy schedule, in the multilingual movie.

Rumour mills have it that AR Rahman's prior commitments to his other Hindi projects have made him to opt out of NEP. This has lead Gautham Menon to find a good replacement for the Oscar Award winner and he is keen to rope in his trusted music director Harris Jayaraj. But it is not sure whether they have sealed the deal.
